Just getting back into playing and picked me up a SG and now I'm needing something to play on.

Not looking for anything huge right now, although I'm sure before long I'll be picking up a half stack, haha.

Anyways, I'm up for anything as long as its inexpensive and has an overdrive/distortion channel.

Something around 15-30 watts and a 8-10" speaker would be plenty for the time being, although I'd be up for something as much as a 2x10/12 cab if the price was right.

Yeah, I saw it in your thread and was waiting for your PM, Sounds like it may work fine, 15 watts you said right?

im not sure if this is a bit too big but i have a Fender Twin tube amp.

its 100 watts.
4 6L6, 5 12AX7, 3 12AT7
2-12# speakers.
ohm impedance can be changed between 4, 8, and 12.
it has a switch that can toggle between 25 watts and 100 watts.
two gain channels

i love the amp and i really dont want to give it up, but i think it probably weighs more than i do and it is a bitch and a half to lug around. it sounds incredible though. i would be looking to get $500 for it. they go for MUCH more.

If I'm going to spend that much, it'll be on a half stack.

Still looking around Bizeeb65, looks like I may go ahead and pick yours up until I decided which way I want to go.

hey, I don't know if you are still looking but kurdt's offer is just crazy. That is an amazing amp. If I had the money I would be on it. So just cause its not a half stack doesn't mean it can't be miked up at a show.

But you're still a little limited. I picked up a cheap combo amp so I can mess around at home for the time being. If I decide to get a little more in depth I'll get another half stack, but for now my $15 30 watt combo amp will do the job.
