for my current application which would be the best:
- spark plug (type and brand)
- exhaust (2.25in or 2.5in)

thats all thats on my mind right now
im sure i will post other random shit.
i did search and found a lot of info.
i just wanna hear some of your biased and unbiased opinions.

Step 1: Don't waste your money on the intake.

Step 2: Save your money and get an SR20DET for around $1300 and swap it.

Step 3: Roll bitches up.

i added prothane mounts to mine, removed the egr, and put an intake on it and advanced the timing and the car flat out screams for a relatively stock car.... no the mounts/egr added any power- but the mounts truly make it alot more fun to drive...and the egr causes all kinds of problems when they get clogged- im in the process of doing a jdm swap....

NGK's are what I always use,can't go wrong.Bump the timing to 17-19 degrees,and drive it like you stole it.Lots of things you can do with one,and they're all fun.Ask me,I've had a 93,and currently have a 96 & 97 Se-R.Bulletproof.

just do the basics and have fun with it. ive had 2 93's and both were great. 1 was for autocrossing and did pretty good in it. i now have a 92 with a gti-r swap, mega fun, and a 98 i use for dd.

are the stock mounts prone to fail under lead footing?
or do the aftermarket mounts just add security and fun?
is there a lot involved in removing the egr, im very interested in this. link?
im down for eliminating anything! ha.

i read about advancing the timing to 15 degrees,
i also read 17 degrees was living on the edge?!
true/false/opinion?!?!?!

i dont plan on using this car for autoX,
but i would like it to turn and do it well...
to be honest the entire suspension has seen better days
and the struts are SHOT
so something needs to be done, and soon...

thanx for all your input

what about fluids.
in the glove box i found a log book of...
oil changes from the original owner,
every 2k-3k miles from
mile #2,009 up to 118,335.5
thank you sir!
after that guy, matt bought it
and i bought it from him
he changed the oil maybe a half dozen times
within the last 6.5 years and 40k miles

someone advised me to release a quart of oil and put in ATF
and the detergents in it will clean the engine.
anyone know if this works?
im very, very hesitant...
i wanted to use mobile1 synthetic,
would that hurt the engine?
considering its always used regular oil
or help the engine?
is it worth the money?
any lucas products recommended,
engine? trans? other?

thanx for your time
sorry for the long post...
