I know this is old but I just have to comment on those P90x and Insanity type workouts. Those guys in the commercials didn't get to look like they do just by doing that workout. at some point, they added in good old fashioned free weights to build the muscle. For the first couple of months those programs will do rpetty well for a beginner but after that the results will slow.
There's still nothing better than lifting heavy weights and eating right if you wnat to gain muscle and strength. Keep it simple.
