I got slapped and had a drink thrown on me for smoking a cigar. The cameras didn't see that (she probably gambles a lot).

As an ex-bartender, this law sucks.

The alcohol rule to my understanding was that it had to be its "main source of Revenue" the casino clearly not being alcohol, I would think otherwise. Just my .02 though

Gambling money is not considered revenue for the casinos, per tax law I beleive.

So we are factually clear on this issue IN KENTUCKY

Again, the OP asked about the casino in INDIANA, where KY laws do not apply.

I don't know about other casinos, but I know for sure that the horseshoe has a safe that you can put your firearm in. When you get to the spot where they check your ID just tell them that you have a firearm and they will take a little information from you and lock it in the safe. They give you a card with a number on it for the spot that your firearm is in the safe and that's it. You have your firearm walking to and from the casino and it's not in your vehicle for someone to steal.

I've been paranoid about that to, as I was becoming a regular there for while but you can request security to walk you out to the garage. Everytime I seen someone win a decent amount on the high limit tables they got a escort out.

What is the difference, you get robbed either by the casino or the guy in the parking lot.

Old thread... But Caesars or Harrahs or Horseshoe or whatever the hell they call the casino down here in Indiana this week, will let you check your gun at the security checkpoint before you get to the boat... They have a lockbox... Just tell the seious looking security guy you have a ccw and need to check your weapon... Theyre cool.

And yeah... The walk through that garage is sketchy as hell...

I used to valet there, but several times when I went to get my car, it took 15 or 20 minutes for them to bring it around... Once I had to walk back into the building to find somebody to call up the valet because there wasn't another person down there... So, yeah... Lesson learned... Its easier to self park.
