refinish a gun (blue)
Anyone know anyone in the area that can blue a gun? I have one that I am redoing, and I don't want to do a bad job of it.
Thanks

He's on another local forum, and seems to have a decent to good reputation. Never dealt with him myself, but you can probably find some reviews of him on that site. I think it was kentuckianafirearms.com or something like that.

Guncrank is (from what I can remember) a relatively redneck guy but seems to actually do pretty good work. Weird dude based on his posts but I would definitely go to him for work if I needed it.

I used this to re-blue the end of my 12g after chopping the barrel down a few weeks ago. Worked great.

Depending on what you have it's a long process... The kits are nice, but if it's a good piece I'd pay someone. If it's a hunk do it yourself.

It's a different chemical process between hot bluing and this birchwood stuff.

If you have a cheap gun you just want to look better, use this stuff.

If you have a gun you actually care about like a family heirloom have it done professionally.
