Valex flying @ Thunder?
I was watching footage of the air show on TV and they showed a yellow float plane coming in low and slow. The commentators mentioned Jeff Gordon and his dad and his untimely passing. It took me a minute to realize that Valex was the one flying the plane.

Right about the time that I started to figure it out, I saw that the cameras had moved onto something else. Then I heard a plane fly over the garage (over off of Bonnycastle) and there goes the yellow float plane.

If I remember correctly, his flight had something to do with the legality of flying a plane under a bridge. Apparently the only way to do that is to land on the water, pass under the bridge, and then take back off.

I remember a post on here about that and Valex commenting that. I did not go this year but will see if I can find some videos.
