Project: Insanity ....... begins

OK, Got a bit more done today with such nice weather outside.

I cleaned up the frame a little before installing the engine.


I set the engine in to check for any clearance issues.




I started to bolt on a few things checking for more clearance issues


I bolted the fenders and front end back on to see what room I had to work with.


As you can see here even with the radiator installed I still have room.


Looks right at home in there, doesn't it.


Its all going to fit under the hood. NICE ! ! !

I am sure there will be plenty of cars that will drive to the track and run 5's I can run against. After all its just a truck

Have you changed the suspension on the truck any? It would be great to see it compete in the "Dash for The Cash" shootouts. Those little trucks are getting very rare.

Yes, It has custom made tubular upper and lower A-arms with QA-1 12 position coil overs in the front. Rear is going to be changed over here in a few weeks to a custom Art-Morrison adj. 4-link w/12-position QA-1's also. Shooting for 8's in the 1/4 this summer.

That is really going to be a sweet little truck. Unfortunately, with the 4 link, they are not going to let you in the shoot out. It is stock type suspension cars and trucks only. However, I am sure we can still find a grudge match or two for ya maybe. Can't wait to see it done.

4 link is not in yet and has not even begun. I am going to get the rest of the truck running first before I work on suspension
