11th street memories

So I was out taking pictures around Louisville and stopped by 11th street. I thought about the races back there a few years ago. From all the smack talk to getting ran off. The one memory that came back to me was when I first got the Conquest and went out one night. Dooser raced someone on it which was fun to watch. I also remember racing a Jeremy (I think that is his name) who had the red Camaro down 13th street when I had my Lincoln. We did it just for fun and I got beat pretty good.

Anyone else miss those days?

Yes, the Talon that rolled up pretty much everything every weekend. Best race I remember was that Talon racing Dudd's Supra.

I remember going out there all the time when I was 16 and had a little red Mazda MX3 with a white front end. Would just go out there and hang with my buddy Spencer who had a white 03 Si with spray and azn Kris with the black B16 civic coupe. I was talking about these days to some friends the other day.

For sure. Although it was more like 6 weeks. Poor Golf. Wasn't Travis and I racing when it happened. My black 8v MK2 GTi. Such fun times.

I can't remeber his name. I talked to him 2 years ago at hobby lobby. He junked that talon and had built another one. He was trying to get me to race him with my integra but I was only making like 350whp and I know he was making close to 500.

4 weeks 6 weeks whos counting, lol yea i was waiting at the finish line. then someone came up there an was like the golf broke. i said it had to be the older one, and here they were pushing travis's car

LOL. If I recall correctly, we waited there till the sun came up for a tow truck and then we all went to Mcdonalds before ya'll went back home.

Stephanie had the Civic w/H22

She still does I believe.

I always loved running from the cops on 11th.They would come from fucking everywhere!

Yessir. I enjoyed that as well. The rush I guess. The same with the later days of National Turnpike.

There was one time on 11th,these 2 bikes took off,and as soon as they were at the end,cops were all over us,even the fuckin helicopter was above us!

I believe I was there that night. The bikes were always getting rowdy down there.

Yea.

IIRC...Didnt the cars start racing on 13th because the 11st bike crowd were throwing fits about the cars racing there? It was a long time ago,So I could be wrong.
