University of Louisville/Kentucky Makers Mark Collectible Bottles
I've got the University of Kentucky 1996 Basketball Championship Bottle. White wax dripped on it, Blue label. Perfect condition unopened.

I've also got the University of Louisville Bicentenial bottle. This is red label, with Black wax. Again unopened.

These are collectible bottles and not really meant to be drank, although there is nothing wrong with the whiskey inside if you do choose to drink them.

Must be 21 to purchase...disclaimer.

I can get pics of my bottles, however they look like every otherone you can pull a pic up of on the internet.

$100/bottle.

You take both off my hands before I leave Louisville to head back to Nashville on Sunday, I'd do both for $175.

I never got why people collect FULL bottles and never drink them. Is it worth more full? Drink the whiskey then keep the bottle.

Just an unopened bottle seems to be worth more than an opened bottle. Besides, I could buy several bottles with the money from these. I'm not interested in collecting them like some others are.

My friend has a bottle of Crown from 1976 that's unopened. We're opening on the day if/when he gets married.

Special edition.

And only college kids collect empty bottles.

Yeah, I guess since I'm in college, I can't really see the point of having a full bottle of liquor. My dad has 5 different "collectors" Makers Mark bottles, as well as a Woodford Reserve from the Derby.

He probably does, but if he doesn't have the two I have, you should buy them for him for Christmas gift! Great idea I tell ya! Then, you can convince him that keeping full bottles is stupid, and you'll have 7 bottles of Maker's you can drink!

I can't believe that those actually sell for that much... My father in law has about 100 different Maker's bottles, all unopened.

I'd take a bullet before I owned a Louisville bottle.
