Who wants to do a 5 speed swap?
The automatic in my S13 gave up on life Friday, it's at the shop right now and their assessing the damage, but I figured I'd throw it out there to see if any of you 240 guys wanna take in some work instead of me giving all my hard earned money to this shop.

I need a 5 speed swap done, the only parts I have are a few misc. lines for the master cylinder and the clutch pedal. This will be a drop off and pick up job, I drop car off, you source your parts, put it together, and I pick it up again. I have no mechanical ability, so I'm no use to you anyway. If I don't know you well enough, I'd like some references (cars you have swapped, and still run). Throw me some quotes people!

Adam man, you're going to have to help find yourself parts. It's unlikely someone is going to go to this much trouble man.

True but it's still a lot of work regardless. What if they don't have a vehicle to go get the parts for you? I'd have to say your best bet is to gather up the parts on your own. Get some friends together and tackle the job so you can gain a little knowledge, or take it to a reputable shop and pay them to do it.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a new car?

I'd love to do it, just dont have time. Finding these parts is not hard and regardless, alot of the parts you need you just need to purchase brand new anyway.
