if you turbo and juice your stock motor, it'll go.
granted the f22 is a stout bottom end as far as honda's go, i've heard them running up to like 10psi. www.fmax.com has just about the most complete kit i know of, and it's like one of two companies that make kits for the F22 motor. there was a guy on Honda-tech that ran their kit on his stock motor and pulled 253/264 on the dyno (at 13psi for the one pull)
but Honda auto trannies = suck. it will give out on you unless you wanna beef it up with some stuff from places like www.level10.com
just stick with teh juice, it's enough to get you in trouble:D

if you really wanna push some boost you're gonna have to build the bottom end, which isn't impossible, i've been able to find some good parts.
check this site out, it's committed totally to Accords, and it has some good tech info about turbocharging the F22. www.accordinglydone.com

donno maybe swap trans and turbo with the giggle gas that would be a bad 4 door

you'd spend ALL that money, and you'd still be slower than a stock DSM or MR2 with the boost turned up a lil....

i love mine too but there comes a day you gotta wake up and realize your car is complete shit for performance and won't ever be fast. make it a daily driver and get something else to quench your speed needs

if i wanted to go fast i would grow a mullet and buy a lightning stv

so then why would you go through the trouble of swapping the tranny and turbocharging if you don't want to go fast?

well good luck to u then mang. i hope you pull it off, a turbo'd/juice'd/auto 4 door Accord would be some sort of sleeper i can tell u that. give me a ride when u get it done so i know what i missed out on by not doing it to mine:D

you better not buy wheels if they cost as much as turbocharging your Accord. you got nice rims to start with, boost that bitch!

i say boost it...i think the wheels you have look very nice...i think having more things under the hood would help in both ur speed and think it would help with points at your car shows...so i would say either boost or swap..just my .02

i say swap the tranny to a 5spd go for some boost , get rid of the bottle. you can get a nice t3, or t3/t4 setup and probably run about 6 psi on stock internals. i'm about to do the same thing just need to get the money. and dave i think its cool that your gonna get an mr2 and everything but its just the fact of putting alot of money into a car. 1 its fun to do, so what it might not be as fast as a dsm or mr2 but with time and money it will. hell i could have afforded an mr2 with all the money i've spent on my car but i chose to enhance my car instead. and there's still a hell of alot more money to be spent, trust me:D .

Oh don't get me wrong, with enough money I'm sure it would be just as capable as any other car, as will yours in the future. All I'm saying is that if speed is really you're thing then a better platform to start with is the way to go as it will have more potential with the same amount of money;)

eh, that manifold looks kinda sketchy. seriously for all intents and purposes i think an off the shelf kit will fit perfect for your application. it's dyno proven and gives you plenty of kick in the pants.
Did you check out that f-max site i sent you?
purginaccord96

yes they are way to high for me right now i would go with another manifold just thats kinda what i want a turbo on a budget

I'm gonna hafta side w/ Dave on this one. It's cool that you wanna try to make the Accord faster, but I'd rather just start w/ a better platform. I love my car and all and I think the 5th gen Accords look damn nice, but I just can't justify spending that kinda money on a car that will never live up to the potential that a better platform could offer for the same amount of money. And the resale is horrible. Maybe nobody else thinks of this, but I sure as hell do. Everything I do to my car has to be fairly easily returned to stock and I keep all my stock parts. I don't wanna be stuck w/ a car that no one will buy, and trust me, you will certainly have difficulties getting rid of a modified Accord. But if you really wanna turbo the car I say go for it, that was just my $.02.

what:confused: what bandwagon would that be?
I'd sell my car to anyone interested. Find me a buyer I'll even give you 100 bucks [/saleman] just because i want to sell it doesn't mean i don't like it

what? I never said I didn't like my car. In fact, I stated just the opposite...
I love my car and all and I think the 5th gen Accords look damn nice
if I didn't like my car, I wouldn't have bought her. Even w/ all the trouble she gave me at first, I still love the damn thing. I can't dislike the Accord too much because we've got 2 of em. But sometimes you just need to face the facts....there are MUCH better starting points out there than an Accord if you wanna go fast. And I don't consider this to be so much about just making an Accord go fast, but more the amount of money one would hafta spend to accomplish such a feat. If tubo kits and engine swaps didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd be jumping on the turbo and/or H22 bandwagon too. If money isn't an issue for you, more power to ya, go for it! I'd like to own one myself, but I have other needs and interests that help consume my money. I wasn't trying to shoot down your idea or anything. You asked for thoughts on the subject so I gave you my thoughts.
oh, and what is this bandwagon you speak of?
