I have a 73 super. Aircooled and not completley finished for the moment. I'm planning on going rotary power later on down the road.

i have an Air-cooled 68 VW Bug - Automatic (sorta) In 68 they came out with their version of the automatic but all it was was a manual without a clutch pedal, still have to shift.

I am restoring it, well at least trying to.......

But I thought I would HEY!

The auto-sticks are nothing but trouble, and suck to find parts for. I'd just try to make it a full standard transmission since you're doing a restoration. If you decide to keep it autostick, it would be alright, just because i dont see many of them, i guess because of the autostick problems.
