Not sure how much the stock touring edition wheels weigh on the 350, but my dad said he wants to buy a new set of rims that would be lightweight. I know OZ makes some good lightweight wheels, but what other companies would u reccomend looking at?

Volk's are always quite nice, and lightweight to boot
BBS were always highly recommended for the Z.

I'm not 100% sure, but the wheels on the 350Z were made by Rays/Volk wheels stock. I know the track edition wheels are very lightweight for their size.
Does he want big pimpin lightweight 19s? 18s? What size? I agree to check out volk, though the price can be a lil high, they are worth it, imo. But hell, if you have a high-end car, if you aren't going to put a high-end wheel on it, leave it stock.

The 18" wheels that come on the TRack edition 350 and the G35 Sport Coupe (w/ manual tranny, optional on other G35 models) are made by Rays (same company that makes Volk and also all of the aftermarket Nismo wheels).
Get in touch w/ Jeremy (Wang), as long as he looked at wheels while waiting for his 350 (and considering how many sets he has sold through Street Sports), I'd bet he knows which models are lighter than the others.

I like my sparcos. My 16x7's only weigh 9.5lbs each.

Only the Track model came with the Rays wheels. My stock 17's weigh about 20 lbs. each. My 19" Volks weigh about 24lbs each. I am selling them right now so I can buy a light set for auto-x. Just get in touch with me, and I'll help him pick something out that will fit the purpose he has in mind for the car.
