Volvo S70 problems..help please

My Girlfriend owns one of those 99 Volvo S70 GLT turbo cars, i'm jealous.., but regardless of which, she has been having a problem where everytime she turns on the air conditioning, for the past couple of weeks, it has a mildew smell. I thought it might be that there is some water trapped in there, i heard that volvo's have that problem somewhere, but i know almost nothin bout volvo's cept they run foreva. If anyone knows of any problems that might occur in volvo's or if they might know the cause of this. It could just be the weather, but i really doubt it. And if it is a problem, does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it up?

same thing happened to my sister. she had all of her carpets professionally cleaned. now the smells not there anymore and hers was horrible even when the aircon wasnt even on.

Theres a place right off of shelbyville road.turn right before the bank and its at the end of the road on the left. They did a good job

Seems common. My mom's did this brand new. No idea what the fix is.
