Well I think I blew out the passenger side oil pan gasket. There is a nice big puddle of oil under the car right now. More work. I am hoping it is that and not anything internal just yet. I need to build up a bit more savings to build the 383 the way I want.

Well the verdict is the engine is blown. The rings are shot. So here comes the 383 and there goes my car for about a month or so.
There goes your weekends for the next month. Sorry to hear about it, but I'm sure it will be worth it once its all back together.

Ehhh, you were inwardly hoping for that motor to blow up so you'd have an excuse to start on that 383.
You blew those rings with your mind.
make sure you take pictures of that build up and the swap-in. That car is going to be insane and you should have a record of its rebirth for your kids to look at.
