If this car ever comes out do you think it will be a hit?

The goods:
First off it has a 2.4 Turbo engine out of a SRT4 that is supposed to pop out 250hp. Secondly it has a 6 speed tranny. Third its RWD. Forth the sticker price is supposed to be 14,500.

The bads:
First its a concept car still to my knowledge. Secondly it has a sticker price of 14,500 which can mean two things. 1) Every ricer will run out and buy it. or 2) Dealer mark up like hell. I'd bet it would be a 27,000 with dollar dealer mark up. Third, like the STI it's built for speed and racing so it has no power options and no radio. and last but no least ITS UGLY AS SIN and i think the orange is going to be the only color available the first year!!!

Thats why I'll be buying mine as soon as it hits the market! :bigthumb: After autocrossing my SRT4, I realized that I miss driving a RWD car in autocross. However I love the power of the SRT4 and I think it would a awesome combo!

I like the styling of them ever since I first saw them. And now hearing they have the srt-4 powerhouse, then I would be all over it. That's a heck of a deal for that much power. I wish I could buy one though, but college owns me.

How heavy are they? They look pretty small, but looks can be deceiving.

Hell yeah, all the potential of the SRT4 w/o the FWD. Who cares what it looks like if it goes like stink?

I always claimed, from the moment I saw the concept specs that as long as they keep it where it is in concept form I'd buy it.

Somehow we'll get screwed, but it's nice to know that for once someone was listening to American enthusiasts.

/Wants the stereo/power-options delete package... Posh is for pussies.

I like the drivetrain but I don't like the styling. I put MAYBE in case they decide to make it look better.

I love it, I think it looks cool as hell. 2500lb's and 250hp at the rear wheels with a 6-spd, I'd buy it for sure

after hearing its only gonna be 14,500 i love it.

well who knows if it will really be that. Like I said before... Dealer mark up is a bitch. But what is really going to be the big thing is if the car is only 14,500 more younger people are going to want to buying it, so whats the insurance going to be for a "RWD TURBO 2 SEAT SPORTS CAR MADE FOR RACING" for anyone under 25 and not married?

For example blksrt4 is paying 347 a month for his SRT4... and its a sedan. 2 door sports cars are always a shit load more. :eek3:

Looks like an elise killer for 1/4 the price.

If they ship it, I'm on it.

I'd own one.

I'd own that. Big nasty turbo,+ spray, + good clutch,+ fat nasty slicks = King of the streets

As it sits it would be awesome. I don't have much faith in the auto industry though ... they will water it down and jack the price up.

I still voted Yes.

It wont be out. If it was there would be more news chatter on it. And it definetly wont sell for under 20000 dollars. It would sound like it was easier to make than the srt4 and it isnt. It requires everything be a new or expensive part whereas the neon chassis was already there and got tweaked. I put my money on they wont make it. Ive been waiting everysince the concept came out a year ago. I would buy one if they made it and under 20g pricetag

To hell with power-options, and stereos. I want a good, cheap, 2-seat, rwd mod-able car. This is as close as america has come to building a true enthusiasts car in years!

/I'll take two.

Any more word if this thing will ever be produced? If Dodge is smart they would

That thing looks awesome. Shame the production version (if it makes it there) will probably look a lot different.

I have a serious doubt it will ever see production. Dodge doesn't have the balls to go through with it
