I have a chance to get a MKIII supra with a messed up 7mge in it. I'm a nissan guy so I don't know too much about the Supras. I've searched forums for this but seem to get confused on swapping a 7mgte into a 7mge MKIII chasis.
I know they have lil differences such as rear end LSD and of course wiring. Everything will bolt up the same correct? Engine mounts and tranny mounts are the same. I heard all you really needed to do is change the connectors as for wiring. Will anything not work as far as dash wise, speedo, tach? Any common problems people might know of? I'm taking it on to have a second car while I swap the SR into my 240sx, but first this one needs a new engine, so why not go 7mgte. Matter of fact I think it only needs new bearing kit, but I feel like boosting it, so I want the turbo engine. Any info or direction to info is greatly appreciated.
