wow, sounds like that talon was a lot quicker than a lot of people thought. Good to have you back in town. What are you driving these days? How was school? Fill those of us in who haven't heard from you in quite some time.

well......that was the third engine i put in it, which i did in the parking lot at my apt. in phoenix. then the t belt broke, so i had the head rebuilt and ported/polished while it was off. then i decided to put some cams in it while it was apart and some big injectors. at this time my big 16g was dead, so i had to go back to the 14b. soem guys at a turbo shop really liked the talon and wanted me to run it, but i didnt' want to as i only was on a stock turbo and it wouldnt' do justice to what the car could do with a decent turbo. so i got to borrow a ball bearing hybrid, poured in some c16 , dialed up the boost to 20psi and off i went. of course being a stock bottom end, i dont' want to think about how many times i could actually do that. so the car WAS fast for a n hour or so, then it went back to just being quick.

school was good, i learned a shit load of stuff , now i'm going to Audi tech school in PA in august.

now i'm driving a 73 chevy k5 blazer, lifted, super swampers, etc.

had to sell the talon due to moving back here and not being able to get all my stuff here in that! so now some 18 year old kid has it and has probably totalled it already.....

hmm......you sound like you don't like off roading and 4x4 trucks. i've always like that stuff, but never had a truck, so i had the oppurtunity to buy one in phoenix, so i did. funny thing is; in Phoenix, trucks are king, some of the hottest girls drive trucks like mine, big respect for them over there, while here it's considered a redneck thing. oh well, i'll just have to educate everyone on the off road thing as well i guess! ever notice how DSM's became popular after i got mine and went to work on it?

jimmy, i've never left the car scene, i just have a truck now. i still have the cams, evo manifold and long block for my next dsm, even found a good shell, just need the time and money to put one together.

turbo6, glad to be back, phoenix was hell! UTI was good, i learned a shitload of good stuff, dont' ahve to go back, got my degree, now i'm headed to Audi school fo r3 months in aug. then i'm done with school.

you wouldn't believe some of the GN's i saw in phoenix. wow.
