the new matrix game

this looks really cool and i believe its coming out very soon. anyone heard anything about it. i saw it in game informer and the graphics and action looks awesome. i'd definatley be down for getting it if its all its cut out to be.

The game is yet another facet of the Matrix Universe. Just like the Animatrix, you don't NEED to play it to know what's going on in the movies, but it helps complete the picture. It's been clsely watched by teh Wachowski brothers (guys who make the Matrix movies) to make sure it's staying true to the material, but is a separate story from anything going on in the movies (although, as mentioned earlier, it will give you more insight as to what's going on with the movies). It's a cool idea and if it works out, it'l give gamers that much more knowledge about how that universe works.

As for the gameplay, it's 3rd person action from what i can tell, sort of like Max Payne. Early reviews have been good, and if it works, expect it to sell and see alot of knockoffs.

It's a separate story from the movies. So although you can't play as Neo, you DO cross paths with him and other people in the matrix moveis Teh characters in teh game are all new for the most part. If you watch the movie and then play the game, you'll catch little bits from the movie that you'd otherwise not know about. Similar to the Animatrix animes. More backstory on the universe of The Matrix. And, IMO, a MUCH better idea than just a "recreate the movie" type game

i just rented it and this game is fucking bad ass. i'm sure everyone remembers max payne and dead to rights, well as you know they all had bullet time and what not. however while they were good games they were matrix knock offs. the real thing with the matrix style is 10x's better than that. and you can actually run up the walls while shooting and do that awesome kartwheel throught the air while firing. its amazing!!!!
