lol thanks. i like busa's if i was gonna drag, but i like the turns way to much to get a busa. as for what you ride, i'm constantly adding new sections to the forum. i want to include off road vehicles too, like atv's and dirt bikes. i used to ride dirt bikes, I just don't have one any more.

well i learned how to ride on a 900rr .... just twist the throttle a lil less and have the same as a 600 ... just be safe and everthing will be fine .. why buy a 600 when i KNOW it will be slow .. and get old quick .. and then try to resell a 600 to get a 1000 ... when resell on 600 is sad ..

i'm gonna have to agree with you zero. i've rode dirt bikes all my life and i knew if i bought a 600 i'd get bored real quick. i bought the TLR for my first bike, and i'm still here. just use your head and you'll be fine. oh by the way, i just got back from the gap and needless to say i'm still alive and i ran it pretty hard. so just cause you start off on a big bike doesn't really mean anything, just take your time and learn as you would on anything else.

my point exactly ... everyone i know that rides told me to get a 1000 .. cause if i got say a 600 .. i would be bored with it in no time .. and then the resell on 600s is nothing cause of this reason right here ... people think they should start small .. and then are bored with it 2 fast and cant resell for nething ... i mean the TL is even worse than a 1000 if u look at it from there point of view the thing makes just as much tq at 2k as it dose at 8k lol .. thoes are some sweet bikes man .. :bigthumb:

thanks. yeah the tl has a lot of torque. yesterday when riding the gap down in TN i was following behind a local that was on a 929. i didn't have to leave 2nd gear the whole time. i was on his ass the entire time and this guy was rollin'. i mean 50mph around tear drop turns, and there aren't any straights at all. i saw him keep changing gears coming out of the turns, when all i had to do was twist the throttle and at 2000rpms i would shoot out of the turn right on his ass. it was great. if you've rode before and are comfortable then go with atleast a 750, if not a 1000. if you are shaky and scared then stick with the 600. me personally...i'd go with the 1000 just cause you'll keep that bike a very long time and there's no need to upgrade. even a 750 would be straight. they aren't slow by any means. just make sure you make the right decision for you and not anyone else.

Congrats on the new bike! Be careful.

My Aquatrax is fast with it being a 1235cc with a turbo pushing 13 psi out and I'm already not afraid of it. I'm gonna hurt myself. That is the main thing....once you loose respect for your bike you need to get rid of it or your gonna hurt/kill yourself.

The NitroShark stage 2 looks good for the Aquatrax. It only bumps it to 260 hp. That should keep me happy for a while til I kill myself.
