What is a good place for a lot of cars to park with a nice background? I'm thinking of a couple of places for a stang photo.
1. Cox's park on the river side where that last photo was taken (the pic in some of your sigs)
2. Somewhere on the indiana side with the louisville city scape in the background.
Or maybe somewhere on a street lined up. Any ideas?
I'd say we use a tripod for the pic, that way if we have to we can stitch together 2 pictures in photoshop and it will turn out good. Also needs to be in good daylight.
Does anyone else have any good places like that or any ideas on a photo op? Post up and let's see if we can decide on a spot.

and it was my idea. :p
as far as this. i cant believe i havent seen this until now. wow. where have i been.
but yes. we do need to have a pic meet.
i know a few rather good pots in downtown jeff that will give us some great back drops of downtown louisville.
i also have a few other really cool ideas for downtown jeff.
and i think the most awesome idea of all is. well, first off wed need many many people. (well, the more, the merrier)
and find a horse farm with some horses, and the green grass, and the white fence. and line us up in front of it. maybe even speak to someone so they could throw some extra horses in there for us.
itd make for a cool pic :D

I would rather have pics on a desolate highway with a corner behind us with all the cars parked kinda caddy cornered around the corner. I know what I am thinking of, I just can't explain it. Ashland park is kinda overplayed. Everyone has a pic of their car with the waterfront/Louisville skyline in the background. We should try something different.

Ok... well I remember us trying to get a nice pic on top of an empty parking garage and we couldn't even do that. so its going to have to be somewhere like a park where we can at least have a chance to take a picture.

yea, im not sure what was up that night.
first the fools said we could stay, no big deal. i told the guy we were gonna walk up on the bridge and we was gonna go from there.
then we get right to where we were about to walk up the bridge, and yall told us to come back cause they was making us leave.
that was BS!

This postwhoring on this thread is great.
I have taken some really good pics of my Vic in run-down warehouse areas. I love the contrast of a clean car with the crumbling background.
One that comes to mind is the old Quad or whatever it is called in Jeffersonville.
In Lexington, you might be able to work out something the with KY Horse Park. There is a lot of beautiful country down that way.

well, the only reason i know what its called is from when half of it burned down years ago. never knew what it was called before that. and never hear anyone else call it anything at all.
why would you visit it though? you make it sound like it was a trip. :p is there something there i dont know about? (besides the crumbling old walls and the few stores left)
would make a cool spot for pics though! :D

I had noticed the place before and being a history buff, I had to check it out. I have taken some pics of both the Camaro and the Interceptor in there. Several of the buildings had collapsed at the time the pics were taken. They made for an interesting background.
The surrounding warehouse district , traintracks, and national guard M60 tank provide some good scenery.
