Well looks like I could have the hatchback running in the near future. It will be putting out atelast 300fwhp. So in order to get traction at the track I'll need some slicks.
I need recommendations on slicks. oh yeah, here's another loop to jump through, I have the ITR conversion on the hatchback, so i will have to get 15in rims for the slicks to sit on. I was thinking about some 15x7in rims or 15x8in rims with spacers. But there are a few choices out there for me, some are 20in, others 23.5 and 24.5.
hopefully nate can help me out here.

The two different slicks that I looked at purchasing were the Mickey Thompson 22x8x15 and the M&H 23x7.5x15 (they also make a 24x9x15). If you are pushing 300 fwhp I would not recommend a 20" tall slick, that is more for a NA motor. With that much power you probably want at least a slick that is 23" tall, but the MT might work well for you.

im sure you are right about the power output but dont count your chickens before they hatch.
i run the 22x8x15 MTs and dont really like them. the sidewall is too short and i can bake them off w/ my all motor car making no HP whatsoever.
i will be getting the 23" M&H that blazer mentioned, after these wear out.
if you really are pushing AT LEAST 300hp like you said, the 24s or 24.5 would be best.

yeah, i wasn't planning on getting anything under a 23in slick. I like the 24.5in slick, yet that's a big slick and would completely destroy my axles with the ACT 6 puck clutch.
As far as my power, I really don't see me getting under 300whp, if I do, then that just means finer tuning of the hondata. I'll have a built block, a nice upgrade performance exhaust manifold, a better flowing intake manifold, 550cc inj, and a standalone system to control everything. I see that as a recipe for atleast 300whp. for the moment i'll run the SFP manifold until billy gets to me in line for his manifold.
