Oh wow. The day after and I'm still excited about the concert. Even though Dashboard was the second opening band (the first was The Black Keys a two man blues-rock band pretty kickin', check 'em out). Their set only lasted about 30 minutes, but it was a kickass 30 minutes. I half way liked DC before I went, I actually liked maybe 2 songs. But NOW, I love them. The show has turned me into a true fan and I can't wait for the new album to drop. Chris was funny as hell and he sounds better live than he does on album. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOSTER AND KARA!!! YOU TWO ARE THE GREATEST!
On a side note, since it was Beck's tour and he was headliner we stuck around for 4 songs and he played a few old school ones that we liked (New Pollution, Loser, and the song about "alright, alright, turn it up now" don't know the name) and one new song that I didn't like. He had good presence on stage and was fun to watch, but the new shit turned us off so we got the heck outta Dodge... err C-Bus.
Thanks again you two, you made our day great! :D
yay! i'm really glad you guys had a good time! and LOL at you liking DC so much now. i'm glad you guys were able to go and enjoy yourselves!

AWESOME!! So so soooo awesome! I can't even say thank you enough to you two! I'm sorry, Foster, but there was no opportunity to get a lock of Chris' hair for you :( I got some pictures, but I'm not sure how they turned out yet. We were actually fairly close, but anyway, I'll stop babbling about it now! Thank you guys! I'll have your cookies next time I see you!
I'm quite jealous, out of curiosity, did they play 'ender will save us all' I'm not a big follower of DB, I listen to em a ton though. Someone told me they've never played ender in concert before. Which is a shame, by far my favorite song.

I went to se DC last June at Jillians and I was not impressed with them. I was hoping they would sound better live than on their album. Sounds like a 13 year olds diary to me. Oh well not everyone can like them.

I saw them at Jillian's too and LOVED it! Were you not a fan before the concert? It's really a show that only the fans like because everyone gets sooo into the music, lyrics, atmosphere, etc. I like the music much better live because the drums sound so much better and add a little more...upbeatness? They didn't do "Ender..." at this show, but I think he did do it at Jillian's actually. There were a lot of songs that he usually sings that he didn't at this show simply because he was an opener. Bah to that!
