Well, Lexington sucks... but Lexington Rocks is an indoor rock climbing place right off campus, in the same building as Laser Quest. Anyhoo, I used to go to Climb Time all through the summer last couple years but they have since been put out of business I believe, and only Lexington Rocks remains. I haven't been there yet, but it is 3800 sq ft. and they've got everything from bouldring, lead climbing, to top ropes with 18 seperate belay stations. They've got a treadwall etc.

Where I'm going with all of this, is seeing if anyone would be intrested in meeting up and spending a day there? Student ID (doesn't have to be UK) gets a rate of $10, $12 without ID, and that includes all day admission, all rental equipment (harness, chalk, shoes, etc).

There hours can be found on their website which can be found at:

Anyone that wants to go reply in this thread. Hope to set this up, and maybe get the Lexington scene a little more involved. :bigthumb:

EDIT: Previous experience not necesary, so come out and have fun with people of all skill levels.
