It will obviously be slow...very slow. Maintenance on it will probably not be too cheap either. Even though its only a 4 cylinder I bet parts are still on the high side. The mileage on it is fine. Lots of older 318s and 325s out there with very high miles. Nice car if you just want a looker.

my mom used to have a '94 318i. We bought it brand new, never really had any major problems. Paint was starting to get bad but considering we lived in NY for 5 years and it had to go through all that snow and ice(see ice storm of '97), it was still in good shape. They are fun and comfortable cars to drive even though they are slow. That one looks sweet, go for it.

I don't know if I'd trade, it looks really badass but it's gonna be slow as poo. It depends on what you're wanting to get. 9000 seems like alot for that car though.

I used to drive a 318. I would never buy one again.

I like it, looks alot like my M3. As previously stated, it's not going to be overly powerful, but I'm sure it will handle very well. Which is really BMW's forte anyways. The exhaust and headlights alone are probably worth close to $2,000.

That car looks lovely. I would like to get a set of those wheels for my m3. This thing should handle like a dream, but may be a little under powered for you. I would not hesitate if it were a 325 or 328, but I dont know about the 4 cylinder...It does have some good quality parts though.

i drive a 318 daily and they aren't the fastest car by anymeans but they ride great the handeling on min is crazy good, thats the luxury of having a bmw i guess. and if you wanna bump up the hp on a bmw 318 look into the downning atlanta supercharger.

as andy floyd constantly says.
buy a car if you like it, not for some1 else to.
i think its awesome and not a bad price for all the mods.
best of luck.
ps. german cars seem to be a bitch for me. i like the 60k mile mainteance being 750 for 4 hours of labor.
