who wants 2 start guessin' his dyno #'s, i say 500HP
Drewstang
04-18-2003, 09:52 AM
I dont know, that is alot of boost. 13-14lbs on a stock motor would push it to 425hp. I'm gonna say around 575-600. I think he'll make about 1 pass at the Valley before he has to get a cage and helmet. Good luck Jon:rockon:

I agree, but someone totalled the Toy I built, and I got a SWEEEET deal on this thing so I couldn't pass it up.

They are $200 new, so I guess $120 takes it.

i will be searching all over a GT; 99-00 somewhere in there with no more than 45000 miles on it. Of couse 5spd, laser red. (those are the features im looking for)
How did you go about looking for that cobra? Did you use ebay, autotrader? any other sites that are good at finding cars for sale? I need to pull my resources together and start looking here in a few weeks, because my car will go up for sale in that time.

You think he would sell it?
I know how much HP that car JCs buying makes. On pump gas and race gas. Now lets hope you can put it to the ground.

Going fo the more sleek looking S281 wing. Fits the curve of the car perfect in my opinion. Most people love the S351 wing, I however like the 281 better.

hmm....i would be very interested if i could get it for the right price.
Thing is i can't buy it right this minute. It might be a 1 - 1.5 months before i'd be ready to buy. I gotta sell my car first.

J/W, didn't see it in the mod list, but has the car been converted over to solid rear axle as opposed to the IRS? I've read that it's a better platform for drag racing.

I like the 351 wing, thats what I have, but to each is own. Car looks badass. Sign me up for the ride list when you get it. I want it to pin me on the seat so I can dream about how my car will never be that fast.;)

Come on release the dyno numbers dont be scared hehe.
Well good to see you got a high HP car now. Good luck with it. And i definatly want to see it run. I still have the love for the stangs. Im sure it has to roll. A friend of mine had a 98 cobra with just a 10 lb S trim kit no intercooler, and the car was stock except for exhaust, and it laid down 440WHP. So id say your numbers should be AOT higher than that if you have heads ect... ect.... So the car should roll. His car ran 7.50s at 95mph.

I'm not to familiar with Mustangs, what kind of number did you put down on the dyno, that thing should make some big par. I'm going to dyno tune mine in like 3 weeks if it is on the road and try to get it down to BG as soon as I can. hehe. I got the turbo yesterday and it is huge!!!!

Turbo is setup for 650 wheel HP to the wheels and we are going to throw the bottle at it so I'll post the dyno sheets when I get them. It is HUGE for a 4 cyl anyways.
