i found one in salem that appears to be for sale. it's maroon and the body looks to be in pretty decent shape. it has a neuspeed sticker on the windshield and looks a little lowered. if anyone is interested, i can get details

I think those look wierd as hell. There is just something odd about the glass on the doors. Anyway, I think they only came as autos so that's lame. Subaru coulda gone somewhere with that imo.

they are nice cars but not nice cars to mod. they weigh a lot, it not the best engine and they do only come in auto's. altho ive heard the 2.5 rs trannys will bolt right up.

The WRX Transmission fits just fine. Shifter comes right up through the hole like it should.
These are rare cars, and a lot of fun. They are heavy (~3600), but they're comfy.
The engines are H6 3.3L, forged crank, rods, and pistons.

i find svx tobe pimp. wanted 1 for awhile, couldnt find any in the area and they are only auto. but if the WRX tranny bolts rigt up...hell yah.

They had plans for a twin-turbo version that would have made upwards of 300 hp. Combine that with the car's amazingly low drag coefficient (lowest of any production car up to that time at 0.29), and that would have put the top speed near 200mph.

They killed the car before they got there, though.

Just the bottom part of the window comes down. Just like a Mclaren F1 does as well. As shown below.

Considering the difference in size, it doesn't make sense.
