On another note, when i first clicked on the thread title I was praying that you didnt get the little flap of skin between your ear and your head pierced. Don't know what it's called but gawd it looks freaky. Bet it would hurt too.

no i don't have my labret done, i've had it done 3 times. one time was 2 holes one under the other and had 1 ring through both. that is called an orbital.

sarah, the tube you speak of is a receiving tube. it catches the needle so you don't get stabbed in the ear.

thanx to everyone that said it looks good (even you joey ;)). i think brent did a hell of a job on them. the only bad thing is, my lips get really dry from the rings.

Yeah, I heard that, too. The guy that pierced my bellybutton also told me that they tend to get infected much easier. That would be the resaon(s) I haven't done mine.

when my lip was pierced i used an oral disinfectant to help heal it, it also made the soreness go away. i have some left over if you need it.
and yeah, my lips were so chapped, it sucked. don't use chapstick or carmex though, there is too much extra crap in those. get a small bottle of vitamin e, and you'll be set.

actually they're healing pretty good. they don't hurt when i hit them or anything. so hpefully in a few weeks htey'll be fully healed
