My Vote: Tie between Super Tecmo Bowl on SNES and Mike Tysons Punch Out on NES

followed closely by Goldeneye in second, and Perfect Dark in 3rd.

Man I used to think Super Macho Man was hard with those spin moves he has, but Tyson is waaaay harder. He's so quick. After I beat him the first time, I was able to beat him over and over again. Either tko 2nd round or 3rd round.

As far as best games: NES and Genesis games were the best.

NES: Bad Dudes, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Excite Bike, Mike Tyson's
Punch Out, Paper Boy......

Genesis: Altered Beast, Shinobi series; Shadowdancer was my favorite.

I can't choose. Secret of Mana, Xenogears, Marvel Vs. Capcom 1 and 2, Halo, Alice (if you haven't played it, you should), Everquest (I hate the game now but it's by far the one game I've put the most time into ;x), Dance Dance Revolution !! and um starcraft. If I had to choose one single game. It'd either be MVC 2, Secret of Mana or DDR can't really compare them since they're all such different types of games.

I don't have FF3 (don't have my SNES anymore). I do have FF Anthologies though that has FF5 and 6 for PS/PS2 (you'll have to have a PS memory card to save it). You can borrow the FF6 disc when I finish it if you want (I have no idea when that'll be though....I stay crazy busy these days).

Ben, I have to agree with you on Secret of Mana. That was an addictive game. I need to get ahold of a SNES and get that and Super Metroid.

well let's see... for what they had to work with back in the day, i say Final Fantasy 3 (6) would have to be the best thought out storyline/gameplay/music score/magic system RPG that could've ever been made at that time. as for some close favorites, I like xenogears, morrowind, halo, maximum carnage, the resident evil series, the metal gear series, final fantasy 7, super metroid = teh shit, and i dunno if anybody knows this NES game, but Rygar was fuckin awesome back when i was a kid

Ninja Gaiden (all 4 or 5 of them) and Rygar were both kick ass games. Old arcade style games are far better than all the 3D and graphics in the new games.

well i have to say the resident evil series,all of the zeldas ,all of the street fighter,metal gear 1,2 ,gta 3 and vice ,gt3, kung fu for the nes. did anyone have the little robot thing that came with the nes when it first came out it was for one of the games.i cant remember what game it was.???the list of games for me could go on for days im old school... i had one of the vecterx. it was a game system with its own tv and u put the games into the side of it. and each game came with its own plactic color thing to put over the screan when u were playing a game ....god i need to stop,,,i fill old now..lmao
